microUSB to become the standard for phone charging

The European Commission has a mandate in place for the microUSB port to now be used as the standard charger for mobile phones, which has been backed by 14 leading handset manufacturers.
Dell Streak running Android ‘Froyo’ 2.2
Mobile phone network O2 has recently updated the Dell Streak tablet they exclusively sell, to Android ‘Froyo’ 2.2. The roll out from Android ‘Éclair’ 2.1 happened last week, which was initially upgraded back in September from the shipping Android ‘Donut’ 1.6.

Mobile phone network O2 has opened up pre-ordering in Germany of the UK-yet-to-be-announced HTC 7 Pro handset – a Windows Phone 7 mobile, with a slide-out keyboard.
