HTC Windows Phone 7 HD 7 – unboxing

One Mobile Ring has taken stock of the HTC flagship Windows Phone 7 based HD7, which appears exclusively on the O2 mobile phone network. We thought we would publish the unboxing images ahead of the actual review, with a brief walk-through of the handset. We’re sorry to say the handset didn’t arrive in a retail box, only a white OEM version which the press usually see.

The HTC HD7 – out of its box. The HD7 arrives running Windows Phone 7, with a 4.3-inch 480×800 touch screen, a 1Ghz processor, 16GB of internal storage, a microUSB port, a 5 megapixel camera with a kick-stand.

HTC HD7 - unboxed

The HTC HD7 – unboxed, in all its glory for the world to behold with all and sundry to view. The flagship Windows Phone 7 from HTC is accompanied by a set of earphones, a data cable and a wall-charging adaptor – for use with the cable, to recharge the phone.

HTC HD7 - top

The HTC HD7 – the top. The top of the handset only contains one button, the power on button. This is located off to the right, where on the HTC’s other flagship mobile – the HTC Desire HD, it is situated to the left.

HTC HD7 - right

The HTC HD7 – the right-hand side. The right side of the handset has a stylish one bar volume rocker towards the top, with a camera button about two-thirds down. The left-hand side of the phone is completely blank, where the HTC Desire HD has its volume rocker on the left with the right-hand side being devoid of buttons.

HTC HD7 - back

The HTC HD7 – rear of the handset. This houses a removable case and battery, the SIM card slot and the 5 megapixel camera with a kick stand. The rear of the HTC Desire HD doesn’t have a removable backing plate, where the battery slides out to the right and the bottom of the phone is removed to insert the microSD and SIM card.
