One Mobile Ring has caught up with LG at an event in London, where we have captured on video the world’s first 3D video walkthrough of a 3D mobile phone.

The LG Optimus 3D has the ability to play 3D media on its 4.3-inch stereoscopic screen without the need for any special glasses, along with being able to capture 3D images and 3D 720p video from the dual 5 megapixel camera.

There’s a full 3D menu on-board that displays all the phone’s main features, from games, to video and pictures – both of which can even be converted from 2D to 3D, by the press of a button. A future update coming to the handset can even convert games that are in the OpenGL format to 3D, such as Angry Birds.

LG’s Optimus 3D ships with 8GB of memory and a built in miniHDMI port, both of which aren’t available in the HTC Evo 3D mobile phone as it only has 1GB and lacks a way of directly being connected to an HD TV screen, with ease.

Check out the 3D video below, of the hands-on walkthrough of the world’s first 3D mobile phone.
