Taiwanese handset manufacturer High Tech Computer Corporation has announced that two of their older key mobile phones, last year’s Desire HD and early this year’s Incredible S, are having an major update rolled out in the UK. This is to the current Android ‘Gingerbread‘ 2.3.5 version, and the HTC Sense 3.0 overlay to that very OS.

One Mobile Ring has been contacted by an O2 HTC HD7 Windows Phone 7 handset owner, who has received an update to their mobile phone last week from O2 – which has resulted in a constantly changing MAC address, affecting WIFI access on the device.

Orange leaked own branded San Francisco II ZTE made phone, on phone’s support page and Sony Ericsson X10 mobile phone is now getting an upgrade to the current version of Android on O2, whilst Sky adds a news application to Research In Motion’s BlackBerry handsets.
