a pale version of the original
Cupertino based computer and software maker Apple has released its white version of the iPhone 4, where mobile phone networks O2, Vodafone and Three are now all selling the device.
Apple’s white version of the Apple iPhone 4 was due to arrive soon after the standard black Apple device arrived at the end of June in the UK 2010, but this never actually happened.
Apple’s statement to the press from July that year stated: ‘White models of Apple’s new iPhone 4 have continued to be more challenging to manufacture than we originally expected, and as a result they will not be available until later this year. The availability of the more popular iPhone 4 black models is not affected’ – the white colour of mobile phone never actually appeared on the shelves, until now.
O2 is carrying the white coloured model of the iPhone 4, starting from £21.50 a month on a 24-month contract with 100 minutes, 500 texts, 20 MMS, inclusive tethering and 500MB of data – with an upfront cost of £304.99.
Vodafone is stocking the iPhone 4 in white, starting from £25 a month on a 24-month price plan with 75 minutes, a 250 text message bundle, a 500MB data allowance with the 16GB version costing a month £269.
Three has the white iPhone 4 for £229, starting from £25 a month on a 24-month contract with a mixture of 300 minutes and text messages, along with a 500M data allowance.
