Or for £7 more, with a no-limits-whatsoever mobile broadband package
Mobile phone network Three has now taken stock of the Sony Ericsson slim and updated Xperia arc S Android mobile phone, with a faster processor than the original model and 3D image capture on contracts as low as £25 a month.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia arc S was launched at Berlin’s IFA consumer electronics show, in early September this year and as an update to the thin Xperia arc handset that was announced at Las Vegas’ Consumer Electronics Show.
Sony Ericsson’s Xperia arc S now runs from a 1.4GHz processor, whereas the original mobile came with just a 1GHz variant, with the same design and look to the first mobile with its 4.2-inch FWVGA Bravia capacitive touch screen and 8 megapixel camera.
The arc handsets get their name from the curved chassis to the back, which is only 8.7mm at its thinnest point where there is new software onboard for 3D panoramic image capture.
Three is offering the Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S on the Text 500 price plan, with 500 minutes, 5,000 text messages and a 1GB data allowance for £25 a month. Or for £32 on The One Plan with 2,000 minutes, 5,000 text messages and minutes to any Three based numbers – with a truly unlimited data allowance.
One Mobile Ring caught up with Sony Ericsson at a press event in London, where we published a hands-on walkthrough in pictures here and video here.
